Profile: He has been awarded the Shanghai High-Level Talent Program (Distinguished Professor), among other honors. He serves as an Expert on the Fifth Discipline Evaluation Group for Management Science and Engineering in Shanghai, Vice President of the Shanghai Engineering Management Society, Council Member of the Chinese Society of Management Science and Engineering, Council Member of the China High-Tech Industry Development Promotion Association, and Council Member of the Shanghai Management Science Society.

His main research areas include: technological innovation and intellectual property management, innovation management, and multinational enterprise strategic management. His research expertise lies in conducting systematic and in-depth studies on core issues of technological innovation management in China's high-tech industries and enterprises.

He has led and undertaken more than 30 research projects at the national, provincial/ministerial, and government-enterprise commission levels (including 3 General Programs funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 7 provincial/ministerial-level projects), and has published over 50 academic papers. Relevant research findings have received endorsements from Party and state leaders in 2 cases, from provincial/ministerial-level leaders in 1 case, and have been adopted by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee in 7 cases.

Prof. Fan Guoliang

Shanghai Maritime University, China

Profile: Doctoral supervisor, reviewer for the American "Mathematical Review", executive director of the Big Data Statistics Branch of the Chinese Society for Applied Statistics, director of the Survival Analysis Branch of the Chinese Society for Applied Statistics, director of the Resources and Environmental Statistics Branch of the Chinese Society for Applied Statistics, director of the Engineering Probability and Statistics Society of China, director of the China Society for Business Statistics, expert for the review of doctoral dissertations of the Academic Degrees Committee of the Ministry of Education, expert for the review and achievement appraisal of the National Social Science Foundation. 

Research directions: Nonlinear association analysis, high-dimensional data analysis, sufficient dimension reduction, nonparametric and semiparametric methods, etc. Has presided over three projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation, as well as seven provincial and ministerial-level projects including the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation and the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation. Has published over sixty academic papers in important domestic and international academic journals such as Science China Mathematics, Statistica Sinica, Statistics and Computing, Journal of Multivariate Analysis, Computational Statistics & Data Analysis, Statistical Papers, Electronic Journal of Statistics, and Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference.

Prof. Zhengyong Zhang

Nanjing University Of Finance & Economics, China

Profile: In 2021, he was selected as an outstanding young backbone teacher under the Jiangsu University's Blue and Green Project. He has successfully completed over 10 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education's Industry-Academia Cooperation Collaborative Education Project, and the Teaching Reform Project of the University Laboratory Research Committee of the Jiangsu Higher Education Society. He has published over 50 SCI academic papers, participated in the formulation of 5 group standards, obtained over 10 patents and software copyrights, published over 10 teaching reform papers, and co-authored and published one "14th Five-Year Plan" general higher education textbook "Quality Statistical Technology (Third Edition)". 

Research Field: In recent years, in line with the strategies of "Healthy China" and "Quality Power Nation", focusing on the important issue of food and drug quality and safety that concerns the national economy and people's livelihood, we have been committed to creating a distinctive research path that integrates artificial intelligence technology and elaborates on the context, key features, and solution strategies of food and drug quality and safety issues from multiple perspectives including the data layer, feature layer, decision layer, and network layer. The aim is to establish a new paradigm of "technology-led + data-driven + intelligent decision-making" for the discrimination and decision support of food and drug quality and safety, which is a comprehensive and cross-disciplinary research approach.

Prof. Wu Xianhua

Shanghai Maritime University, China

Profile: Doctoral degree, professor (level 2), currently serving as a master's degree supervisor for "Applied Economics" and other related fields, as well as a doctoral degree supervisor for the "Management Science and Engineering" program. Member of the Higher Education Committee for Economics Disciplines of the Ministry of Education. 

Mainly engaged in teaching courses such as Statistics (undergraduate), Econometrics (undergraduate and postgraduate), and Frontier of Input-Output Analysis (doctoral), as well as scientific research work in areas such as Big Data Management and Application, Risk Analysis, Emergency Management, and Shipping Economic Statistics. Chief expert of the major national social science research project. Has presided over and completed more than 30 longitudinal and lateral projects including the National Natural Science Foundation Major Research Program Project, Face-to-Face Project, International Cooperation and Exchange Project, Director's Fund, and National Soft Science Research Program Project. Has published over 200 papers in journals such as "Risk Analysis", "International Journal of Production Research", and "Annals of Operations Research". Has published (co-authored) 8 books in Springer Nature, Science Press, and Higher Education Press, etc.
